A client of mine once bragged of the success he had with this fly so I vowed I would try it.  Turns out to be one of my go to small nymphs now.  What does it look like???? FOOD. The King could be anything; caddis pupa, mayfly, or boatman. Who knows? The fish of the Bow like it for certain.   I tie it with a tungsten bead to assure quick descent when using it below a hopper.Materials

Bead: Tungsten 3/32″ gold 

Thread: Uni 8/0 red

Tail: Brown goose biots

Rib: Fine gold wire

Body: Mohair plus green olive

Wing: White Goose biots

Throat: Partridge feather barbs
