Our first “Mystery Fly” contest resulted in some terrific and innovative finished flies. We provided 24 entrants with identical packets of fly tying materials which they had to incorporate into a finished fly. Tiers had to include some of each of the materials provided plus one additional material. Tiers provided their own epoxy or glues and thread.
